Cafe Zee on Ealing Broadway roasts its own coffee beans on-site, and the flat whites get serious praise from regulars who've hunted through London for a proper cup. The space spreads across two floors — industrial-rustic upstairs, cosier downstairs, with buggies and highchairs accommodated. Families come for the generous brunches: the Big Veggie Breakfast, signature avocado toast with poached egg, and green eggs (pesto, spinach, avocado on toast) all clock in under £10. The paninis are "excellent and generously sized," and there's proper loose-leaf tea if coffee's not your thing. Vegan and gluten-free cakes sit behind the counter, baked in-house. Reviewers suggest visiting on a weekday breakfast when it's quieter, or weekends for first pick of those mixed berry cakes.
