Pickle & Rye brings Texas-style barbecue and proper American diner breakfasts to East Sheen, run by owners who clearly know their way around pastrami and pancakes. The American Plate — two pancakes, two eggs, bacon, sausages, and fried potatoes, draws regulars back every week, with homemade baked beans that come with the English breakfast. Kids eat well here with highchairs available, a dedicated kids menu, and portions generous enough that families often share. "All the staff were young but seemed to know what they were doing and were very accommodating," one parent notes, while regulars report that manager Timi and server Chase are known for remembering orders and topping up the bottomless filter coffee (£3) without being asked.
