Theo's sits just opposite Southwark Playhouse Elephant, a retro-styled pizzeria that's become a go-to for families grabbing dinner before a show or weekend lunch near the station. Highchairs and buggy space are available, though locals suggest arriving just after 6pm on Fridays to beat the rush. The Napoli salami pizza gets repeated shout-outs, along with the wild garlic arancini and that homemade chilli oil everyone dips into. "I finally found truly good pizza," says one Italian student who's made it their regular.
