Tonkotsu Bankside is a snug, modern ramen spot a short walk from the Tate, with big communal tables that suit buggies and highchairs. Regulars come back for the rich tonkotsu broth, pork gyoza and cauliflower wings, and staff member Anusha gets a name-check in review after review — "if only all restaurants could have their own Anusha!" wrote one diner. There's a kids menu and outdoor seating for warmer days, and the lunch "small" portion is more than enough for younger appetites. A solid pick after a Tate Modern visit.
